The Teen Collective is a Monthly Membership With a Mission to:

  • Build Community amongst brave and curious girls eager to challenge the status quo
  • Create a safe space where no question is silly and no discussion is off the table
  • Champion tomorrow's leaders willing to challenge what it means to be a healthy teen and lead by example
  • ​Ignite spark and foster confidence so girls feel comfortable  and courageous in making the best decisions for their mind and body

Are you a teen with questions but you feel too shy to ask or not sure who you should be looking to for advice?

Maybe you just aren't sure what it should feel like to be a teen or what is normal right now?

That is Exactly Why We Created The Teen Collective

Whether you are a Teen Collective Alumni or new to the program, the monthly membership was created to take a deeper dive into teen health. Healthy adolescent brain development favours learning amongst peers and we know it is normal for teens to want to establish their independence. 

Sometimes that makes conversations with family tough but learning with friends easy.

Our monthly membership allows teens to explore health and wellness topics that aren't often discussed in the classroom in a safe, fun space in community with peers and friends. Engaging, monthly sessions give them a chance to ask or listen to all the questions they always wanted to know but maybe weren't ready to ask.

Here's How It's Going to Go Down

   Fun Foundations

Whether your teen is new to The Teen Collective or an Alumni who wants to review, every 6 weeks participants will have the opportunity to participate in a foundational masterclass. If we want to change teen health, they need to know the basics first. Topics will include individual units from our core course including teen specific nutrition, safe movement & body image, menstrual health, secrets of sleep, healthy skin, social media and establishing healthy relationships.

   Parental Support

There is a pretty good chance that today's parent wasn't facing the pressure of social media when they were a teen. Establishing a common knowledge base and language can mean the difference between surviving and thriving in a family through adolescence. We will keep parents up to speed in with a la carte foundational reviews and a parent dedicated Facebook group. Think of it as the Coles notes of the teen sessions without cramping their style or compromising their privacy.

ENGAGED COMMUNITY GATHERINGS

In addition to our foundational units on teen health, participants & facilitators connect once monthly around a central topic or theme of teen health. Virtual (and in-person the minute we can) experiences will help us explore the monthly topic in a fun and relatable way - think a nutrition and movement session taught as a hip hop meets smoothie making class.

GROUP LEADERSHIP

Local experts in teen health will be on hand to make sure participants are getting accurate and evidence-based information.
​Alumni mentors will have the chance to facilitate and lead conversations creating opportunities to build confidence and explore leadership. 

FAMILY & GROUP EXPERIENCES

​Monthly challenges will be set by the group to keep us all accountable to our health goals and get the rest of the family involved.
Members will also have first dibs on some pretty amazing experiences that are currently in the works (hint: our current teen group has been asking for a retreat).

Meet The Founders of The Teen Collective

Dr. Erin TeWinkel, ND
a.k.a. The Teen Wellness Warrior

I am on a mission to support teens and their families through building their foundations of health so that they can develop lasting resiliency. 

When our teens and their families are supported we can thrive through this adolescent period and not just survive it; allowing our teens access to a full, happy and purposeful life.
 
As a teen I did not get the opportunity to build these foundations and therefore resiliency - I had to search it out on my own. It was difficult and trying for a young adult - so now I am here to use what I found to help teens launch into adulthood successfully.

For the last 18 years, I have built a clinical practice around helping women build strong, confident bodies. One thing I've learned from treating thousands of women is that the issues they face as adults could have been significantly lessened had they built strong foundations of health as teens.

I am passionate about helping girls feel empowered and fierce in their own skin so they can make healthy choices that will serve them for a lifetime.

I've spent the last 2 decades building a positive relationship with my own wellness and as a mother of a daughter, I'm excited to pass on my life's work to our next generation.

  • Monthly Meetings: Tuesdays from 7 pm - 8 pm EST beginning October 26th
  • ​Foundational masterclasses every 6 weeks including units on nutrition, menstrual health, skin health, movement & body image, social media & healthy relationships delivered every 6-weeks
  • Content recordings of our foundational material in an easy to digest format that the whole family can watch and review
  • Access to our network of teen health professionals and discounts with our community partners 
  • Parent private facebook group where parents can ask questions and learn how to support the health of their teen
  • Preferred access to our special events and upcoming retreats

Not a fan of long term relationships at this age? No problem - choose the monthly option at check out and you can cancel any time (although to get the most out of the membership we strongly suggest you stay for a minimum of 3 months).

We are pretty obsessed with helping teens find their confidence and hold onto their spark.
